Feb 28, 1849                     Lemuel Allred and wife Sarah sell “Forty acres and Eighty hundredth of an acre situate lying & being in Blount County” to Andrew Allred for $160, “a certain tract or parcel of land to wit the South East quarter of the South West quarter of section three in Township Twelve of Range One East in the District of said subject to sale at Huntsville, Alabama”.  Blount County, AL Deed Book G, Page 350-351.  See transcription and deed

Mar 22, 1875                     Joseph and Emily Allred sold “one and nine six tenth of an acre more or less” to William Covant for “the sum of forty six dollars and eighty seven and a half cents” location: “commencing from a stone at the SW corner about eight foot from the S&W R.R. right of way running east 70 yards then north 121 yards and 2 feet then west 70 yards then south 105 yards containing one and nine six tenth of an acre more or less in Sec 29 TnR SW  Blount County, AL Deed Book V, Page 228.  See transcription and deed

Feb 1877                            Andrew and Luvica Allred et al (heirs of Daniel Easley, deceased) sold 2 tracts of land, 1 acre and 50 acres) to W. A. Causey.  Blount County, AL Deed Book V, Page 391.  See transcription and deed

April 4, 1877                      James Allred received $79 from P. H. Kinney as a loan so Allred could farm his land and use 2 mules and equipment necessary to raise a crop of corn and cotton, guaranteeing to pay the loan in full on or before Nov 1, 1877.  If the loan is not paid by that date, the land would be put up for public auction with the proceeds going to Kinney in payment for the loan.  Blount County, AL Deed Book U, Page 199-200.  See transcription and deed
