Blount County Alabama Know all men by these presents that we
Nathan Allred of Blount County & Lucy the wife of the said Nathan
Allred in consideration of the sum of fifty two dollars to us in hand
paid for Robert Mercer Berry of County aforesaid the receipt where-
of we do hereby acknowledge have bargained sold and __ ordained
and by these presents do bargain sell and quit claim unto the
said Robert Berry and to his heirs and assigns forever all our
____ of our right to the interest estate claim and demand
both at law and in equity and as well in possession so in
_______ of in and to all that certain form or price of and
situate in said consisting in a north east direction where said Robt

Barry now lives ____ at the receivers office at Huntsville
Ala by said Nathan Allred 23 December 1853 in the sum of forty
five dollars thirty seven cents it being the northwest part of
South west section No. 31 township NO 10 of Range No 2 east
containing 36 & 30/100 acres at the rate of $125 per acre $45
30/100 to all and singular the hereditaments and appurt-
ances thereunto belonging in witness whereof we have here-
unto set our hands and seals this the 10th day of April in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty eight
done at my office day and date above

this day personally appeared before me Geo W.
for the county aforesaid the above named Nathan Allred and
Lucy his wife who acknowledged that they severally signed
sealed and delivered the foregoing deed on the day and year
therein mentioned to the aforesaid Robt M Berry and the said
Lucy Allred being by me privately examined apart from
her said husband acknowledged that she signed sealed
and delivered the said deed freely without any ____
or confrontation of her said husband given also my hand

or county the foregoing Deed and certificate were filed in my office
for record on the 11th and were duly recorded on the 18th day of June
1868
